The Swedish Dockworkers Union has announced strikes in several Swedish ports
The Port of Helsingborg is one of the ports that can be affected from the 6th to the 11th of July. Mediation between the Swedish Confederation of Transport Enterprises and the Swedish Dockworkers Union is ongoing. We are monitoring the development of events and hope the conflict will be resolved before the notice comes into force.
If the strike breaks out, the operation in The Port of Helsingborg will be highly affected, particularly the vessel operation. Our current assessment is that vessel, train, and cargo operation at the Logistics Terminal will not be possible during the strike days. However, we plan to keep the Central Gate open for incoming and outgoing container cargo by truck, but with a reduced capacity and workforce in the yard.
The ferry traffic between Helsingborg and Elsinore is entirely unaffected and will operate as usual.
