Import through the Port of Helsingborg
The Port’s permit for Temporary Storage is labelled with goods terminal code BJS, which must be stated when imported goods enter the port. According to current procedures, goods that remain for more than 90 days are moved to our customs warehouse with goods terminal code UHG.
Goods that will be stripped must be declared for or moved to our customs warehouse before the container is opened.
Weighing bananas, customs control, an inspection of plants, and veterinary control are procedures carried out at our Temporary Storage BJS.
Export through the Port of Helsingborg
The Port’s permit for the Approved location for export has the code VT1I, which must be entered when containers are to be declared for export for shipment from the Port of Helsingborg.
According to the Swedish Customs Agency, this will apply from October 1st, 2024. The Port does not handle IE507.
